Let me tell you his story...
Once upon a time, a little kitten was born after his first five brothers and sisters. He was the sixth in a litter of seven little treasures.
All survived their births, much to the delight of the human who accompanied them in their first hours of life. She left them with their mother, watching over them every minute of the day.
The day after their birth, their devoted human noticed in the photos she took of her precious kittens that this little redhead was not like the others. She could see a difference, but couldn't put her finger on it.
Then, determined to find out where this difference came from, she decided to take a closer look. To her surprise, when she palpated her left eye, she felt a hollow rather than the circular surface that should define the eyeball. She knew then that this baby would be unique.
This baby, so lively and eager to live, would have only one eye. This baby, she already knew, would be her little protégé, her little Prince. 👑
